Tatjana Tylkanova talks about warm winter boots

"Then they sew various (kinds of) footwear, in the Even style. And they also sewed various (types of) boots for themselves. They threw absolutely nothing away from the hides and furs, they stored everything. If there were many children in a family, they worked at sewing fur boots with inner liners and pants, for winter. When we were children, we never got cold, not like now. Our parents took care of us well, they made very warm clothes. When the cold temperatures came, we were running outside and sliding, warmly dressed in our winter clothes. We had two pairs of inner boot liners and a few pairs of gloves, and how warm our fur caps were!"
