"These lines here are made with the knife; it’s made from reindeer antler, look here, with the needle. I prepared a decoction from alder. Then you dip the knife tip into it and draw a line like this. That way, you get a pattern like this. Now, this pattern is narrower compared to this one, and you widen it in different directions. And that’s how zigzag patterns are created. Then you also make holes with the knife in a special way because the tip is so flat. Recently, I made such holes with it on this strip."
