Anatol Donkan talks about a children’s cradle

“This is a children’s cradle that could also be hung up. Various amulets were made for the child to protect it. This cradle belonged to my teacher Nikolaj Batunovič Kile. His grandfather had made this cradle. It was often used to rock all the many children born into his family. Here you can see a bear that watches over the child. The father also carved a fish amulet, which was tied to the cradle. When the child sat up, it could rock the cradle by itself.” (Video in progress)
