"In those days, it was customary to hunt bears together with others. One hunter would press against the bear’s throat, while a companion made sure the animal couldn’t break free. But in earlier times, humans killed animals out of necessity – to have food. That’s why hunters and fishermen performed a special ritual every year, asking nature for forgiveness because they could not avoid taking the lives of animals."
